Change of Disinfectants

The UCNSB will be temporarily changing the form of the disinfectant that we use in our drinking water, to ensure the health and safety of the public. Beginning November 8th, 2021, the UCNSB will be converting from our normal disinfection agent, chloramine, to free chlorine for a period of six weeks.  After six weeks, on December 17th, 2021, we will convert back to the chloramine that we normally use as a disinfectant. If you have any questions regarding our temporary disinfectant change, please feel free to contact Shiloh Wagers - Laboratory Coordinator at 386-424-3184, Tom West - Water Resources Director at 386-424-3180 or Scott Heil - Water Resources Production Supervisor at 386-424-3191.
