UPDATE as of 4/1/2019:
During the course of work on this project today, the water line that serves 1200, 1206, 1208, 1210, 1212, and 1214 S. Riverside Dr. was turned off at 11:15 am to allow for the replacement of a 1" water line. Water was restored at 12:04 pm. A Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) was issued as a result of the unplanned outage. It is anticipated that the PBWN will be lifted on Wednesday, April 3rd.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THE COMING WEEKS:
· April 16th - we are anticipating the station “start-up” upon completion of the electrical work; coinciding with the start-up will be the start of restoration work for the surrounding area.
· Week of April 15th - pavement repair is scheduled.
· Week of April 22nd - expected project completion.
Dewatering of the groundwater is necessary to construct the deep manholes and lift station and all other underground utilities, including relocated water and sanitary mains. The groundwater is clean and we have permission to discharge into the storm drains from the City. This is a common construction practice.
As always, thank you for your patience as we work expeditiously to complete the work.
